El Chapo sends threatening message to terrorist group ISIS.

Image
It turns out a Mexican blogger leaked the message after it was sent email encrypted directly to the Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, a prominent ISIS leader.  The blogger has intimate ties with actual Sinaloa cartel members, so it looks as if the warning is indeed legit. The three central cartels which move drugs across Mexico, as well as the rest of the world, are The Sinaloa Cartel, The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and Los Zetas. With the Middle East having become a burgeoning scene for cocaine, ecstasy and other party-based drugs, the cartels have been expanding their operational reach to these regions,  hoping to heavily profit from the oil industries rich princes and wealthy businessmen who have been fueling the growing nightlife scene. ISIS. As drugs are not a part of the organizations ideology for a Muslim State, ISIS fighters have been destroying shipments of drugs from the cartels. The cartels have made it clear that ISIS just made a huge mistake by des

Student drugs her dates with chocolates before robbing them

A student was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly drugging her dates before robbing them of their credit cards and cash, police in Japan said. Sendai police said that they arrested 23-year-old Midori Kohama, a medical student, after being accused of drugging men while having dinner with them in order to steal their cash. According to the police investigation, Kohama met a 52-year-old unidentified man on a dating site, where she agreed to meet in person before going to dinner.  Kohama, a medical student, brought along a box of chocolates, which she laced with drugs. She urged her date to taste the chocolates, and he agreed. After several minutes, the victim passed out. While he was unconscious, she stole his ATM cards from his wallet and left.  When the victim woke up and he realized that he was robbed, he called the police. Police were able to track down the suspect and arrested her. Police said that Kohama was arrested last month for pulling of the same scam, ma

Police bust cannabis farm after noticing snow quickly melting on the roof

Image
If Walter White taught us anything, it’s that a massive drug producing operation is difficult to hide. However rather than Mexican gangs or a brother-in-law police detective, these cannabis farmers were recently rumbled by the weather. Police officers were alerted to the house in the Netherlands after neighbours noticed the snow on the roof had melted far quicker than anywhere else on the street. After raiding the building they found several lamps used to grow the illegal plants heating the roof of the building up, melting the snow. This method of catching out crooks who grow drugs has become very common amongst police in the country, and they have even released images, such as the one above, letting citizens know what to look for if they suspect any of their neighbours of growing cannabis, and asking them to tweet the police if they see any suspicious roofs. However doing so has led to people becoming concerned that homes with sauna’s or poor insulation could be lead to p

The world is running out of LSD, apparently

Image
‘LSD is one of the two or three most important things I’ve done in my life,’ the late Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, famously said. Please don’t go looking for some in the hope that it will turn you into a tech genius. Not only will LSD not do that to you but you’d also be looking for a very, very long time – because there’s a shortage. In the 1960s, acid wasn’t just a hippie staple. All types of people from musicians to Harvard professors were experimenting with acid, either recreationally or in the hope of yielding some spiritual, creative or therapeutic benefit. n the modern day, you don’t hear much about it and the reason why may be because there’s so little around. According to University of Michigan researchers, there was a sharp decline in use of LSD among 12th graders (17 year-olds) the age group most likely to use the drug, despite interest and a lack of concern about its potential side-effects. It looks to me like lack of availability has played a major role

Plane Crashes Over Venezuela Carrying £55 Million Worth Of Cocaine

Image
It’s not every day a plane crashes, but it's not every day £55 million worth of cocaine is recovered from the crash site, either. But that's exactly what happened over the Andes in South America when 880lb of gear in 362 packets was scattered over 14,000ft of mountain range in Venezuela. Shock-horror, the Mexican plane crashed as the pilot was flying low to evade radar on November 5th last year. Venezuelan military believe their country was not the final destination of the drugs, despite the UN considering them as a major drugs transit country. In response, Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro has warned that any drugs planes entering their airspace would be shot down – because that is reasonable Police took two days to recover the plane, the drugs and unfortunately the remains of the 38-year-old pilot doing the  smuggling. Nightmare.

Her condition deteriorated when she was taken back to her cell and died on Monday.

Scotland To Trial Cannabis Based Medicine For Children

Image
Epidiolex is a treatment based on cannabidiol (CBD), which is a non-psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. In previous cases reported in the US, it has been successfully used to treat epilepsy and experts are hoping that it will also help children in Scotland with seizures they cannot control. CBD oil is already available as a nutritional supplemenet, but there could be a much more useful advantage to the substance on the horizon. Many children with serious forms of epilepsy do not respond to the medications that we currently have available. We need new means of treating these conditions so that we can give back some quality of life to these children and their families. Dr Richard Chin, director of the Muir Maxwell Epilepsy Centre Some patients with Dravet syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy, will be given Epidolex, while others will be administered a placebo to measure the effects of the new medicine. Depending on the success of the trials, this could be the start o
