Zayn Malik admits to only joining One Direction to 'meet girls'
Zayn Malik who left the group this week, admitted he was only ever interested in singing as a way to meet women. And because he’s engaged to fiancée Perrie Edwards, 21, he has stepped down from the stage. The 22-year-old confessed: “I joined a school choir originally just to meet girls. “I joined when I was about eight and then it became a hobby and I started to sing all the time.” In an unseen interview with Rolling Stone magazine from 2012, the lad confessed he “never” even wanted to be famous. And he said he was only in the global chart-topping band because he “got lucky.” He said: “This isn’t what I thought I was going to be doing.
