On Thursday, Lee County Sheriff detectives noticed a 2015 Mercedes that had been reported stolen, and after stopping the vehicle, they found the driver Kenzo Roberts, was using a fake ID, had a concealed firearm, and possessed three fraudulent credit cards. Surveillance video shows Roberts unsuccessfully trying to bite off his own fingerprints while in the backseat of the patrol car.  Lee County Sheriff officials say Roberts has two felony warrants for his arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police "refused" to rescue a teenager who drowned in a canal while fleeing from officers, witnesses have claimed. The 17 year old, believed to be Jack Susianta, smashed a window at his home and fled after officers were called to the property in Clapton, east London, on Wednesday. He later ended up in the canal at Lea Bridge Road, Hackney, and witnesses have said officers went in only after he disappeared under the surface. Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 38-year-old man after they executed a search warrant on a residence on Kent Street and found large amounts of marijuana and cocaine  Thursday. Gregory Alan Strong Jr., of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County jail on a second-degree felony charge of possession of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams and a third-degree felony charge of possession of marijuana between five and 50 pounds of marijuana.  No bail has been set at this time. According to a press release, NCSO investigators had been investigating Strong for some time. After investigators arrived on scene at the house in the 200 block of Kent Street, their search of the home turned up 10.5 pounds of marijuana and two ounces of cocaine.
