Plane Crashes Over Venezuela Carrying £55 Million Worth Of Cocaine

It’s not every day a plane crashes, but it's not every day £55 million worth of cocaine is recovered from the crash site, either.

But that's exactly what happened over the Andes in South America when 880lb of gear in 362 packets was scattered over 14,000ft of mountain range in Venezuela.

Shock-horror, the Mexican plane crashed as the pilot was flying low to evade radar on November 5th last year.

Venezuelan military believe their country was not the final destination of the drugs, despite the UN considering them as a major drugs transit country.

In response, Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro has warned that any drugs planes entering their airspace would be shot down – because that is reasonable

Police took two days to recover the plane, the drugs and unfortunately the remains of the 38-year-old pilot doing the
smuggling.

Nightmare.
