How well does Facebook pay it employees? Very well it seems
While Mark Zuckerberg’s personal fortune of $33.3billion has been much publicised, the average salaries of his employees are none too shabby. According to data research by Glassdoor, the average entry level engineer can reportedly expect an annual salary of $106,000 (£69,900) while an average product Analyst receives $118,864 (£78,393). Software engineers at the social media giant earn a mean income of $183,397 (£120,958). Facebook’s own value is currently estimated at £200 billion, which must explain the company’s somewhat impressive salaries to it’s 8,348 employees (as of September 30th 2014). The social media network was founded in 2004 by Harvard students Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, Chris Hughes and Eduardo Saverin before quickly expanding to other American universities before becoming a worldwide phenomenon.
