From skydiving to swimming with sharks, we've seen some incredible GoPro footage since the boom of the action camera.  However, when this guy attached one to his dog, he could never have imagined what he'd capture. Tommy Berglund was out hunting moose with his dog Klara when she ran off into the woods.  A little later on, Tommy found her lying severely wounded in the forest.  She had a number of bite marks all over her body and was covered in blood. The wolves stopped the attack when they sensed Tommy coming.  Thankfully, Klara was wearing a protective vest that saved her life. If you're a dog owner, you'll find this pretty hard to watch. Thankfully, a vet was only 20 minutes away and Klara made a full recovery after three days. SOURCE 

A malnourished two-year-old boy is believed to have been kept alive by a dog who breastfed him. The boy was discovered in a mechanic’s workshop in Arica, Chile, on Thursday. Local media reports he was seen drinking the milk of a pregnant dog. The child was taken to hospital and released one day later. He is now under the care of child welfare authorities. The boy’s parents have not been arrested and a family court hearing will determine the child’s outcome later this month. Locals have hailed the dog, Reina, as a hero.

Usually when you see the words ‘pit bull’ and ‘chicks’ in the same sentence, it also contains the words ‘horrific scenes’ and ‘feathers everywhere’. However this interaction between the two doesn’t end the way you might expect. Not only is Jules the pit bull extremely gentle around the little chicks, she even lets the baby turkeys climb up onto her back and waits patiently while they prance around on her. Amazingly this seems to calm the dog down as well, as it goes from frantic panting to quietly sniffing one of the chicks who hasn’t decide to straddle her. One of the chicks even has the cheek to stand directly on the dog’s head! The chick’s parents are close by keeping a watchful eye over their young, but they needn’t worry, as the pit bull provides them with a fantastic surrogate mother-figure.

This is Hulk, a pit bull from New Hampshire. At 175 pounds and only 18 months old, he just may be the world's largest pit bull. He lives with the Grannan family. His owners, Marlon and Lisa, run Dark Dynasty K9s, a kennel that specializes in pit bull terriers. FDark Dynasty K9s specializes in breeding and raising pit bulls to be used as guard dogs. According to their Facebook page, the dogs are trained to protect homes, families, and property, and are sent to all parts of the world to be used as guard dogs. They also have another mission in bringing awareness to the breed by challenging popular misconceptions. Houdini dog’ squeezes through tiny cat flap to escape the kitchen  A family set up a camera to try and figure out how their dog kept escaping the kitchen recently and only upon viewing the footage did they realise their pet had quite an unusual talent. It turns out five-month-old Dash is something is an amateur contortionist, after he was seen squeezing his body through a tiny cap-flap, much to the amazement of owners Paul Groves and Nicky Gilligan.   The greyhound lurcher is 2 foot tall, however he manages to fit through the tiny gap, which is measured at just 7 x 9 inches, in his home on Newport, Wales. Paul said: We have two cats and one of them can barely squeeze through it, so it’s amazing that Dash can. Dash is a beautiful dog and he has a really good temperament. A good Samaritan who offered a homeless person a place to stay allegedly caught the woman engaging in sexual activity with her dog. The homeless woman approached someone in a South Oakland shop, US, and explained she was homeless and four months pregnant. After hearing about her plight, the Samaritan extended an invitation to take her home where she cooked her dinner and offered her a clean set of clothes and a good night’s sleep. But at around 3am the homeowner came downstairs to find the homeless woman allegedly having sex with her dog. She demanded the woman leave the home. According to police reports the homeless woman became upset and threw a dumbbell through a glass door. She was arrested and is facing a list of charges including sexual intercourse with an animal, criminal mischief and defiant trespass.

A man suffered serious injuries after being shot by his dog, police in Wyoming said. Sheridan County Police said that 46-year-old Richard L. Fipps of Murphy Gulch Road, was accompanied by two of his employees when they got out of their truck to remove snow chains from the tires of the vehicle. Fipps had a dog in the vehicle that had been ordered to move from the front seat to the back.  While the dog was wandering around in the back seat of the truck, it stepped on a 300 Winchester Magnum loaded gun and caused it to discharge.  Fipps was out of the truck when the bullet shot through the cabin and into his left arm. Fipps was transported from the scene to meet an ambulance on Highway 14, where he was taken to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.  Due to the severity of the injury, he was transferred to Billings.
