Student drugs her dates with chocolates before robbing them

A student was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly drugging her dates before robbing them of their credit cards and cash, police in Japan said.

Sendai police said that they arrested 23-year-old Midori Kohama, a medical student, after being accused of drugging men while having dinner with them in order to steal their cash.

According to the police investigation, Kohama met a 52-year-old unidentified man on a dating site, where she agreed to meet in person before going to dinner.

Kohama, a medical student, brought along a box of chocolates, which she laced with drugs. She urged her date to taste the chocolates, and he agreed.

After several minutes, the victim passed out. While he was unconscious, she stole his ATM cards from his wallet and left.

When the victim woke up and he realized that he was robbed, he called the police. Police were able to track down the suspect and arrested her.

Police said that Kohama was arrested last month for pulling of the same scam, making off with about $8,000.
