Police suspect that the monkey has been someone's pet and was then abandoned in the city. The one-year-old monkey roamed the streets and soon found new friends - local neighborhood children. They fed the monkey Kinder chocolates. The chocolate diet left the monkey aggressive while looking for its next fix. One day, the animal attacked and scratched some children at an elementary school, causing police to hunt for the monkey.  The animal managed to evade police for a few weeks, before it was finally caught. “We were given the location, but by the time we got there the monkey had escaped,” a police spokesperson said.
