Oakland Park, FL – The owner of an auto parts store fought back Monday afternoon when two gunmen showed up at his office to rob him, eventually wresting the gun from one assailant and shooting him multiple times as his accomplice ran away. Broward Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives have released surveillance video of the violent confrontation.  They are asking the public to help identify the gunman who fled, as well as a witness who did not remain on scene.  Detectives are also looking for a dark gray late model BMW and its driver who fled the scene just after the shooting. The video shows CAD Auto Parts owner Andrew Hepburn just before 1 p.m. sitting in his office in the Oakland Industrial Park. Two gunmen entered. One, later identified as Conrad Bloomfield, ordered Hepburn to the ground face-down, pistol-whipped him, and tried to put his hands behind his back.  When the gunman became distracted, Hepburn grabbed his assailant’s legs and the two began to fight.

A student was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly drugging her dates before robbing them of their credit cards and cash, police in Japan said. Sendai police said that they arrested 23-year-old Midori Kohama, a medical student, after being accused of drugging men while having dinner with them in order to steal their cash. According to the police investigation, Kohama met a 52-year-old unidentified man on a dating site, where she agreed to meet in person before going to dinner.  Kohama, a medical student, brought along a box of chocolates, which she laced with drugs. She urged her date to taste the chocolates, and he agreed. After several minutes, the victim passed out. While he was unconscious, she stole his ATM cards from his wallet and left.  When the victim woke up and he realized that he was robbed, he called the police. A theft casualty was stunned to be fined $11,000 for thrashing a telephone criminal for attempting to snatch his telephone, as per court archives in China.  The court in Dongguan, sentenced the man distinguished as Yuan, to three months probation notwithstanding the fine.  The hoodlum recognized as Zeng, attempted to take the cellphone from Yuan, yet he battled him off and pursued with two other men.  The three got up to speed with Zeng and beat him up.  Zeng reported the occurrence to the police, and the three men were captured on charges of attack.  Yuan and his assistants were discovered criminally at risk for the beating.  Zeng was not arraigned for the robbery on the grounds that the casualty neglected to document a police grumbling.
