Malnourished boy, 2 breastfed by dog
A malnourished two-year-old boy is believed to have been kept alive by a dog who breastfed him. The boy was discovered in a mechanic’s workshop in Arica, Chile, on Thursday. Local media reports he was seen drinking the milk of a pregnant dog. The child was taken to hospital and released one day later. He is now under the care of child welfare authorities.
