Police "refused" to rescue a teenager who drowned in a canal while fleeing from officers, witnesses have claimed. The 17 year old, believed to be Jack Susianta, smashed a window at his home and fled after officers were called to the property in Clapton, east London, on Wednesday. He later ended up in the canal at Lea Bridge Road, Hackney, and witnesses have said officers went in only after he disappeared under the surface. Fiona Okonkwo, 42, told the Evening Standard it appeared the youngster "couldn't swim" and was in difficulty for around 10 minutes. She said: "The police officers refused to jump in after him and said they can't do it. I was going to jump in after him but they stopped me.  The police told us there were weeds underneath the water, that it was too dangerous and they could get dragged down. A woman felt she was doing the world a favor by killing a serial rapist. 32-year-old Sarah Sands of the United Kingdom, has been acquitted of murder charges after killing a convicted pedophile. She told the court that “someone had to protect the people.” A jury found Sands not guilty of murder, but she was found guilty of manslaughter due to loss of control.  Sands, who was drunk at the time, killed 77-year-old Michael Pleasted during a confrontation at his home.  Pleasted had a record of sexual abuse dating back to the 1970s. He was convicted of 24 sex offenses, all involving children. The longest sentence he received was six years in prison. However, he did not change his ways.  Pleasted was recently arrested for two counts of sexual abuse.  After bail was granted, he returned home while awaiting his trial. A woman caused a road traffic collision due to pleasuring herself with a sex toy. A VIOLENT teenager who updated his Facebook status to 'full-time killer' after a disabled man he attacked dies of a brain haemorrhage has been spared jail. Scott Hall, 28, was punched in the face by the teen and his accomplice, also 15, then kicked as he lay unconscious on the pavement. Mr Hall died 11 days after the unprovoked attack following a brain haemorrhage. The brutal attack could not be linked directly to the bleed in the brain which killed Mr Hall, who suffered from a rare brain disorder which affected his balance. So despite the boy's sick boast about being a killer, he was charged with assault causing actual bodily harm. Scott's family spoke of their devastation at his death as both teen attackers walked free with community sentences. Known as a referral orders, they are handed to juveniles who admit their crimes. The paid were also ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, which Mr Hall's family pledged to gie to the charities he supported.

A 61-year-old man has confessed to having sex with his pet Chihuahua after being caught red handed by his wife. Manuel Ramon Gonzalez’s shocked partner had called police after spotting him on CCTV cameras at home engaged in an X-rated act with the family pet. Gonzalez, from Palm Beach County, Florida, admitted cruelty to an animal and sexual activity with an animal after being arrested, according to CBS12. ‘We do see a lot of it. An elderly couple who ended up in hospital after physically fighting with each other say they can’t remember what they were arguing about. Charlene Earle, 83, and Charles Earle, 87, drove themselves to Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, US, to have their injuries tended to. Police were called to the hospital at around 11pm on Saturday. A nurse told officers the couple – which have been married for 64 years – had been in a fight with each other. The duo both suffered injuries including severe bruising and skin tears. Both declined to give statements and said they did not remember the incident or the reason they were arguing, report News Journal. Mrs Earle was arrested and charged with battery.
