Proprietor John Reed discovered Milo's bemusement in the wake of getting him home in Frizington, Cumbria, from a nearby vets. 



The 58-year-old said: 'It was extremely valuable. He took around a decent hour or somewhere in the vicinity advancing around. 



'He looked down and acknowledged they were missing and let out this omnipotent scream. 



He carried on looking down and gazing for a long time. 



'I simply laughed. We've had a decent chuckle at the photos since. The second one is stunning.' 



A vigil for the loss of Milo's men of honor will be held tomorrow
