Former Chelsea captain Dennis Wise steals limelight from FA Cup shocks with horrendous hairdo

Dennis Wise has enjoyed a pretty good relationship with the FA Cup over the years. From helping Wimbledon to a stunning win over Liverpool in the 1988 final to lifting it twice at Chelsea captain, before guiding Millwall to Wembley as player-manager in 2004, the Cup has been good to the former midfielder.

But today he completely stole the limelight from the famous competition – all thanks to his haircut.

It was one of the greatest days of FA Cup upsets, with Premier League leaders Chelsea giving up a two-goal lead to crash out 4-2 at home to League One Bradford, while Championship Middlesbrough saw off Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad.

But it was Wise whose hair was the talking point of the evening, following his appearance as a pundit on Setanta Sports.
