There are plenty of dodgy adverts on Gumtree, but when someone told us that a vacancy for a monster hunter had been posted on the site, we just couldn't ignore it.

The ad, uploaded earlier this week, looks like this:

A monster hunter, in Kensington? One of the most expensive areas in the country? Surely not! 

Now, we're not sure which joker is taking the right royal p*ss here but they've clearly put some serious thought into it.

After a bit of investigation we've come to the conclusion that whoever posted this ad is a gamer, and a serious one at that.

The image above is from a new game called Evolve, set for release in February next year. Whether or not this is a desperate plea for online friends, we're not sure, but what we do know is that the trailer looks pretty intense.
