Special forces were last night involved in a deadly race against time to find and destroy a ­Syrian chemical weapons factory before it is used to slaughter thousands of people. The order was given after intelligence reports revealed that the Islamic State terror group was planning a chemical attack on Kurds in the east of the country. Last night a team of 60 SAS soldiers were accompanying a US chemical warfare team in the hunt for the chlorine warehouse,  said to be situated in a heavily fortified ISIS stronghold 50 miles from the Iraq border. According to Kurdish sources, the weapons may have been placed in an underground bunker to protect them from Nato air strikes. A randy couple have been hauled in front of a court after allegedly having loud sex on the kitchen floor - as their crying children looked on. Police were called to a disturbance at the family's home in  Springfield, Massachusetts, before finding it was less of a routine call than they were used to. Officers said there were three visibly upset children, distressed at what was happening in front of their eyes. The couple, Adis A. Negron, 30, and Elias Alicea, 38, were arrested and have since appeared in court, where they denied charges of open and gross lewdness. A police report filed in the court revealed cops heard children crying and shouting inside the Haumont Terrace apartment on June 13. A hospital has apologised after an RAF sergeant was moved away from oth er patients because staff said his uniform might cause offence. Sgt Mark Prendeville was taken to the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Kent, after an accident during a training exercise. Staff moved him so other patients could not see him, the Sun reported. A previous "altercation" involving a man in uniform led to the 38-year-old being moved, the hospital said. The aircraft engineer needed medical attention after chemicals from a fire extinguisher got into his eyes while training at RAF Manston, Kent, on Wednesday. He was moved twice while in the accident and emergency department so others could not see him, his family said. A man accused of murdering his girlfriend ripped out her intestines with his bare hands because she twice called out the name of her ex-husband during sex, police said. Fidel Lopez, 24, said he flew into a drunken rage after 31-year-old Maria Nemeth screamed her ex’s name while they were having sex at their Florida apartment. Lopez shattered a glass door, punched holes in the wall and ripped a door clean off its hinges before mutilating his girlfriend with several objects and disemboweling her with his hands, authorities say. According to the report, the 24-year-old called police in the early hours of Sunday morning and arriving officers found him sobbing over her lifeless body. Paramedics pronounced Ms Nemeth dead at about 4am, half an hour after Lopez called police. This driver received his dose of instant karma after he attempted to show up a motorcyclist. The footage, taken by the motorcyclist, shows the moment that the Mitsubishi Evo driver dangerously cuts him off before losing control of his vehicle and spinning out. After they had both waited at a set of traffic lights, the Evo driver decided to overtake on the outside and narrowly avoid a collision. The biker then gestures at the driver and shouts 'B*llend!' as he rides away. The video called 'Typical Evo wunderkid' was uploaded to  YouTube where the biker wrote: 'Bloke in an Evo thinks his driving talent is his and not the car's. WRONG!' It’s been quite the week for Ahmed Mohamed. The 14-year-old was arrested this past Monday at his Irving, Texas high school after bringing a homemade clock into class to show his teacher at MacArthur High School.  He was then questioned by police and taken into custody for building what the police call a “hoax bomb.” Mohamed was eventually released after police did not file charges.  However, that was certainly not the end of it, as the story went viral across the Internet.  Many supported Mohamed’s inventive curiosity — though some wondered how “inventive” the clock actually was — and President Obama even invited the teen to visit the White House.  Mohamed was hailed as a hero, with other tech leaders like  Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Box CEO Aaron Levie inviting him to visit their Silicon Valley offices. Terror group Al Qaeda has allegedly ‘declared war’ on fellow jihadists Islamic State, according to reports. Osama bin Laden’s replacement, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who stepped up to take the reins four years ago following the former leader’s liquidation,  has blasted ISIS in an audio message, and has accused ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of ‘sedition’. ISIS, once described by Barack Obama as Al Qaeda’s “junior varsity squad,”  has eclipsed its parent organisation in recent years – and one can only assume  Al Qaeda bosses aren’t happy about this. According to counter terrorism expert Matthew Olsen, the declaration of war will ‘irreconcilably’ divide the two factions. Two five-year-old Russian boys used spades to dig their way out of their kindergarten and set off on a mission to buy a Jaguar sports car, Komsomolskaya Pravda daily has reported. The two boys disappeared as their group took part in a supervised walk in the grounds of the kindergarten in the city of Magnitogorsk in the Urals region. Chelyabinsk regional interior ministry confirmed the boys' escape from kindergarten. "We don't have any details yet, we can only confirm the fact itself," a spokesman said, adding that the incident took place several days ago. After reaching freedom, the boys walked two kilometres to a car showroom selling luxury cars. A female driver noticed the unaccompanied children and asked them what they were doing. They told her they had come from their kindergarten to buy a Jaguar but did not have any money. She put them in her car and drove them to a police station. The 42-year-old ‘butt-dialled’ police from the mobile phone in his back pocket, while discussing plans to burgle a property with a friend. Operators heard him chatting with an alleged accomplice chat about breaking into homes, stealing goods and emptying drawers. They passed the information on to police. He was indicted in Somerset County Superior Court on burglary, theft and other charges in connection with burglary in Stafford and Branchburg. Esser was arrested back in July, police seized jewellery, electronics, bonds and a gun in his vehicle. His bail was set at $100,000. (£65,921). Source

A malnourished two-year-old boy is believed to have been kept alive by a dog who breastfed him. The boy was discovered in a mechanic’s workshop in Arica, Chile, on Thursday. Local media reports he was seen drinking the milk of a pregnant dog. The child was taken to hospital and released one day later. He is now under the care of child welfare authorities. The boy’s parents have not been arrested and a family court hearing will determine the child’s outcome later this month. Locals have hailed the dog, Reina, as a hero.

Monday Facebook hit a huge milestone: a billion people used the service in one day, founder Mark Zuckerberg said in a post.  "On Monday, 1 in 7 people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family,“ he wrote.  "When we talk about our financials, we use average numbers, but this is different.  This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it’s just the beginning of connecting the whole world.” The sheer size of Facebook’s active user base dwarfs other social networks.  And it’s an impressive feat for the company’s growth team, which has continually found ways to attract new users despite essentially saturating the market in its home base of the United States.  Efforts like Internet.org, which will deliver basic internet services to developing countries using solar-powered planes, position the company to grow its reach even further. “A more open and connected world is a better world,” Zuckerberg wrote.
